Intro to JSON

An introduction to JSON as a data interchange format, it's pros & cons, how it compares to other formats, as well as available support for JSON. The talk will also cover basic usage in JavaScript as well as how to use JSON from PHP, and various gotchas to keep an eye out for.
Presented by: Cosmin Smeu. Decades of software development experience with a broad range of programming languages, operating systems, toolchains, toolkits, and libraries. I have been developing in PHP since the spring of 2000, and I've been a big fan of PHP ever since. For the past 4 years I've used JSON extensively, and I'll never go back to XML or other formats.
