All you need to know about SymfonyCon Disneyland Paris 2020

We're super excited about the upcoming SymfonyCon 2020! This year, we celebrate Symfony’s 15th birthday, already! For this special occasion, we decided to bring the entire community back to France in the beautiful city of Paris in the fantastic theme park of Disneyland® Paris. We're thrilled to share with you more information to enable you to organize your trip to come there.

SymfonyCon Disneyland Paris is a 5-day event from December 1st to December 5th:

• Two-day workshop: Tuesday, December 1st and Wednesday, December 2nd
• Two-day conference: Thursday, December 3rd and Friday, December 4th
• One hackday: Saturday, December 5th

The early bird registration is currently open, until April 27th 2020. Buying your conference ticket includes:

• Ticket to attend all talks on December 3rd and 4th including a morning coffee break, lunch and afternoon coffee break on both conference days
• Ticket to attend the special night for Symfony’s 15th birthday at Walt Disney Studios Park on December 3rd! From 8pm to 11:30pm, enjoy the unmissable attractions of Walt Disney Studios Park, only open for us!
• Free admission to the Hackday on December 5th including food and beverages
• Official goodies of the conference and our sponsors

Buying your combo workshop and conference ticket includes:

• Ticket to attend both days of workshops on December 1st and 2nd including a morning coffee break, lunch and afternoon coffee break on both workshop days
• Ticket to attend both conference days (as detailed above)

If you're planning your trip to come there, we've great news! We've secured hotel rooms and negotiated great rates in some fantastic hotels of Disneyland® Paris and you can now book your room. We're super pleased to share with you the link to book your hotel room, we offer several hotels deals.

If you require any further information or assistance about hotel rooms bookings, you can call Disneyland® Paris Business Solutions team at +33 (0)1 60 45 73 99 Mondays thru Fridays from 9am to 6pm - local time. Please note that from November 21st 2020, bookings will be confirmed upon availability.

Another great news to help you plan your stay: we'll soon sell tickets to enable your family to join you at the conference party organized at Walt Disney Studios Park on December 3rd! We're really excited to organize the conference party from 8pm to 11:30pm at the Walt Disney Studios Park, only open for SymfonyCon’s attendees! We have the great pleasure to inform you that if your family wants to join you in this special moment, you'll be able to buy a ticket for the party only at the price of 30€ per adult (VAT excluded), 15€ for a kid between 3 years and 11 years (VAT excluded), for kids of 2 years or under it will be free. This ticket will include the access to Walt Disney Studios Park on December 3rd from 8pm to 11:30 pm. Tickets for the party only will be soon available for purchase on the conference website. Please note that the restaurant "En Coulisse" will be open during the party. If you want to eat or drink, you'll be able to order your food and beverages there at your own costs. If you want information about the menus offered there, please check their website. Menus may vary by the time the event will take place.

Call for Papers is still open until May 11th 2020. If you want to submit your talk proposals, you can still do it! If you never spoke at a conference before, we have a mentoring program for speakers including a slack speaker-mentoring channel where several experienced speakers are happy to help shape your talk proposals, slides or help you during your rehearsals or do test runs via video conferences. If you want to share your Symfony or PHP experience with the community but you've never been on stage before, submit a talk proposal and add in the notes that you're intrested in our mentoring program for speakers!
